East Finchley Station
Finchley is one of the more outer suburbs of London with little of interest to the visitor. An even less interesting part being East Finchley. Perhaps the only thing Finchley has been noted for is Mage Thatcher - The Iron Lady represented the area in Parlament. However, the station is a very nice high level one on the Northern Line with an 'art deco?' design.
Station entrance linked to Camden for now
Station sign linked to Golders Green
Looking down the platform, ride the Northern Line from here
Looking down the platform again, linked to more stations
Looking down the platform canopies from the Staff rest room
Linked to Farringdon to change lines.
One of the highlight statuettes.
Seen from the ground and public areas, credit can not be given to the quality of the pieces
Tracks running away into the wild blue (or on this day - dark grey) yonder - use for a bit of fun - Go to Watford Miniture Railway.
