On entering there is a ground floor reception area (not pictured). Ascending the good, but unexpectedly less than imposing stone staircase to the first floor, this is your first sight of the Hall itself -

Go to the Tower of London

A big open hall looking very clean and stark with just the gold-leaf highlights and the throne at the far end.
Then your eyes are naturally drawn up to the ceiling and

WHAM

what a ceiling!!
