Regents Park

A rather large, by London standards, Park. It is situated just 'over the road' from Central London, as I know it. This is a major open space in London. The Park is bounded by The Marylebone Road, Park Road/Baker Street, Prince Albert Road and Albany Street.
As with the other 'central London' parks it is actually Crown Property, things like the street lights have the Crown emblem.
The outer rim is bounded by some wonderful Georgan Terraces and Villas fronting to the Outer Circle Road. Within the Park is London Zoo and Regents College. A part of the Park is bounded by the Inner Circle Road and is called Queen Mary's Gardens.
There is a lake and the Grand Union Canal passes through the northern parts on its way from Paddington to Camden.
Since this is horticultural, I should state that the pictures were taken on the 14th February 2000, a wet wind-swept winters day, to put the landscapes into perspective.

So linked.

An unlikely link, but well worth the visit

Across the Tennis Courts with the Telecom Tower in the background.
Linked to Golders Green Crem. Seems daft but another wonderful Garden.

Have a look at the terraces

Another oversight, linked to a page on the surounding terraces.
